Do not mix calendars. An IS deposit does not hold an MOE P1 seat, and a P1 balloting story does not unlock a Tanglin / UWC Year 1 place.

Mother Tongue and Mandarin without panic

Local primary MTL is a structural load for many EP/DP kids, not a weekend hobby. If you choose MOE primary with weak Chinese at home, budget tutoring early — see Mandarin enrichment. After-school cliff (the real burnout trigger)
