If your school is not on the list, graduate LTVP is the wrong product — switch early to between jobs / STVP or the leaving playbook rather than filing a doomed application.

Renewal edges (when your letter allows renew)
ICA’s general LTVP renewal guidance (verify against your approval letter and the live page):
- Apply at least three months before current LTVP expiry where renewal is available for your category.
- Renewed validity starts from issuance (after issuance fee) — unused days on the old pass do not carry forward.
- Sponsor / Singpass renewal flows on the general LTVP page often assume a sponsor; graduate-seeking-employment filings used the non-Singpass path at first issue — confirm the renewal channel ICA names for your pass before the clock runs out.
- Outcome and status still run through ICA e-Service / email — not university “auto renew.”
Treat duration and renewability as what your letter says, not forum claims of “automatic one more year.”
Decision rule
List → complete pack → file before your stay rail ends → treat ~6 weeks as real → renew early with no carry-forward myth. Parent stay/job-hunt framing stays on graduate LTVP; EP return path on employment pass.
